The Kentucky Construction Career Choice Council (K4C) is a non-profit organization committed to advancing Kentucky's construction industry. We promote the construction business as a valuable, profitable career opportunity to increase the workforce market as well as promote scholarships to fund career fairs, educational programs, and scholarships.
Kentucky Construction Career Days brings thousands of high school students together for two days of company exhibits, demos, and learning
Career Days 2006 and 2007 saw over 2,000 high schools students and 35 company exhibitors from around Kentucky come together to participate in learning more about each other. Students were able to put tools in their hand and step behind the controls of heavy machinery to explore many of today's construction trades. Exhibitors brought their staff and jobsite equipment to demonstrate real workforce tasks to a field of excited young adults.
